Approved Cradle to Cradle product
During the ISSA/Interclean trade fair of 7 may in Amsterdam, PaperFoam received the Cradle to Cradle® Quality statement from Hein van Tuijl from EPEA in the Netherlands.
EPEA has done extensive research about the material composition of PaperFoam. The raw materials and reusability of our products were tested according to the Cradle to Cradle certification program. The result is a high score for PaperFoam on the subjects: Material Health and Material Reutilisation. Therefore PaperFoam has been approved for Cradle to Cradle-products. The material can be recycled with paper and is also biodegradable.
The Cradle to Cradle development has been initiated in cooperation with Van Houtum BV. This packaging has been developed to be fully recycled within the paper waste stream. The materials used in this packaging have been optimized according to the Cradle to Cradle product certification.
